Going back and forth is a pain and seems unnecessary. Yes, you can import your amps/presets from Desktop into FX, but I always imagined the FX would be built into Desktop to make for a seamless flow. It's a separate plugin from BIAS Desktop.
I wish their were more factory presets, but it's fairly simple to download a user preset and tweak it till you get what you want. I like the access to Tonecloud and all the quick sorting options to try others' presets. I've used a lot of amp sims and BIAS is the best sounding in my opinion. The delays, compressors, reverbs, etc., are all top notch. I was part of the early invitation program and have had BIAS FX for about a month now.
